Bethel Lutheran Foundation

   

Bethel Lutheran Foundation was founded in 1985 through a gift from Floyd and Myrtle Stewart. The Foundation is organized for religious, charitable, educational and other human service purposes, principally, but not limited to, establishing, maintaining, endowing, operating and supporting Bethel Lutheran Home, or other Christian homes for men and women through which may be provided relief, support, counseling and nursing care for those persons residing principally within the Williston conference of the Western North Dakota District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. It it organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes as permitted under Sections 170(c)(2) and 501(C)(3) of the IRS code of 1954.

Bethel Lutheran Foundation is governed by a five member board of directors. Three board members are elected at the annual meeting held in September with two board members appointed to the Foundation Board from the Bethel Lutheran Home Board of Directors. Board members serve a three-year term and have the option to run for a second three-year term.
