Childcare
In
2002 Bethel Lutheran Home received a generous and wonderful gift from
an estate. Through this gift, Bethel's Hartke Center
was built on the grounds of Bethel Home. Following completion of
construction, Wee Care Childcare relocated its services to the castle
themed center.
Owned and operated by Laurie Walz, Wee Care has been providing quality
daycare services in the Williston area since 1995.
It is the philosophy of Wee Care Childcare that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Children are creative and receptive: the staff strive to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend. We recognize the importance of providing a secure environment that supports the development of self knowledge, self control and self esteem in children. The quality of attachment and interaction between adults and young children plays a vital role in the child's view of self.
In keeping with their philosophy, the children of Wee Care are regular visitors to Bethel Home. The sound of children's voices and laughter, mingled with those of our Elders and staff, can be heard in the hallways as time is spent visiting one on one, playing games, doing crafts, going for walks or mixing up some sort of baked goody in the Activity Room.
