Pine
View Court is home to 24 residents and
includes a spacious dining room, living area and an outdoor,
fenced courtyard accessible to residents, staff and families.
The unit is designed for dependent adults who require care and
support maintaining dignity, quality of life and worth of the
individual. Our belief is that residents with senile dementia
and related disorders have the right to be treated with respect
and their care individualized to meet their physical, spiritual
and psychosocial needs. Dementia residents have the right to
comfort, activities based on their individual functional and
cognitive ability and freedom from unnecessary physical and
chemical restraints. Care is planned
by using a multidisciplinary approach integrating the following
services: resident's physician,
nursing, activities, social services, therapy, chaplaincy,
dietary, along with family input.
We believe that ongoing support for family
members of dementia residents is very important and they are an
integral part of the care experience.
Pine View Court objectives include:
- Promote quality of life for each
person as a unique individual with a lifetime of experience
and memories.

in their environment.
